Deandra

This gorgeous hummingbird in flight was made for a wonderful person who helps so many others and is equally full of life.
Deandra was scroll sawed from 1/4” solid poplar, before each piece was shaped with a rotary tool, and painted with vibrant, iridescent gel stains. It is mounted on a reclaimed pine backer I found in a local vintage store, because this hummingbird’s owner values human stories and histories.
